Jeremy Aguero
Principal, Applied Analysis
Jeremy attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he graduated with honors in 1996. During his last year of undergraduate course work, Jeremy took a position as an intern/analyst with Coopers & Lybrand, LLC's (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) Financial Advisory Services group. After spending eighteen months with Coopers, he left and began his tenure with Applied Analysis.
Jeremy's project history demonstrates a wide range of abilities. He has worked for clients in the private and public sectors, and undertaken projects of local, regional and national significance.

The Hospitality Industry's Impact on the State of Nevada: A Review & Analysis. Jeremy teamed up with Shannon Bybee, Executive Director of the UNLV International Gaming Institute, to prepare this report that was later submitted to the Federal Gaming Impact Study Commission.
City of Las Vegas Fiscal Impact Analysis: Jeremy worked as part of a consultant team that modeled projected development patterns in the City of Las Vegas and then evaluated the fiscal impact of several development scenarios.
Bureau of Land Management Land Release Absorption Analysis: Jeremy prepared the absorption model for a 7,500-acre tract of vacant land on behalf of the Bureau of Land Management. This analysis was later used by the BLM and the City of North Las Vegas in developing their land disposal strategies.
Regional Air Quality Agency Cost Analysis: Jeremy worked as part of a team charged with evaluating the costs associated with creating a regional air quality agency in Southern Nevada. This included an evaluation of state and federal policy implications, staffing and space needs, as well as an analysis of funding alternatives.
In addition to his professional activities, Jeremy is involved actively in the community. He is currently on the Board of Advisors for the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling and has served on the Board of Directors for the local chapter of Hispanics in Politics.
Jeremy has been asked to speak on economic and development trends for numerous professional groups, including the Nevada Development Authority, the International Association of Hospitality Accountants and the Southern Nevada Economic Conference. Additionally, Jeremy was recently named one of Nevada's top 40 under 40 by In-Business Las Vegas.
